Synopsis
At one time, Wisconsin was well known as “America’s Dairyland,” teeming with small family farming operations, but technological innovation and corporatization have remade the landscape of the state’s dairy industry. As Jim and Nancy Wiederholt (Dickeyville, WI) milk their cows for the last time after over 38 years in business, they reflect back on the changes they’ve witnessed and the future of family farming in the heartland.
